2002 CRV vs 2005 CRV

Postby jayseiko » February 23rd, 2016, 9:36 am

Thinking about buying a used CRV but seeing the RD4 or RD5 comes in 2 models 2002 and 2005. Can someone tell me what is the difference and which one will be the better option to buy used. Thank you

^ don't think you're entirely correct

Because I have a RD5 2002 model bought from the firm locally I'll share some of the specs

Engine - k20A 2.0L
Real time 4wd / auto
Leather interior
Sunroof
PW, PS, etc

Cabin space is really spacious if you're looking at that option as well

Can't go wrong with this SUV.

Check Wikipedia... some pretty detailed info on the generations. Also scour Trinicarsforsale.com to see the differences in pictures.

CRV overall is a good choice... honda quality, but you really need to have someone knowledgeable look over what you consider buying. Alot of good deals can end up with a car that needs significant maintenance. A 2002-2005 car is over 10yrs and depending on mileage and treatment... even a quality car can end up with worn seat foam or upholstery, worn tires, in need to suspension bushings or belts and maintenance. Look out for recalls and any clunks or rattles.
