Hey guys. Wrt the time setting it is directly linked to the navigation. The time we are seeing is the time in japan. We can’t directly change it on certain models.

I was hoping to get some information from you all. Do you all know where is the fill plug for the transmission? I would like to replace the DW1 fluid in the tranny but I don’t want to go adventuring so much. It’s the wife’s car.

Also, anyone of you all have the map card? The idiots stole ours on the port..... i have a gathers 165VFEi and only the radio works since i have no map card.

I see Motul has a hybrid 0w20 line so i’m looking at using that.

For those interested in pre-2015 models, there are recalls for various things. For 2016 there is also a recall but for the VSA software. Its just an update for the system. I’ll try to look for all of the TSB bulletins and post them. I think it’s reasonably safer to buy late 2015 and onward.

I'm not sure about the click ramishrr was talking about but you do hear a noise when shifting from park to drive etc. Sometimes even when the vehicle is idling you hear that ticking noise. I think it's a hybrid thing because I heard it on my friends Hyundai ioniq

The vezel is an awesome vehicle , especially with honda sensing.

Based on my research prior to buying one there were some recalls with the 2014 model (transmission problems ) I believe, so keep that in mind.

The only thing the vezel is missing for me is
-sunroof
-tpms (can buy a device externally and install)
-cross traffic indicator
-rear ac vents

A drunk idiot broke a traffic light and hit mine. Insurance wrote it off .

I ordered a 2017 RS model , brand new. Hopefully should get here by January / early Feb.

It really is an awesome drive and it has a lot of pep. Driving the vehicle in sport mode with the paddle shifters is. A lot of fun.

I concur. heard the noise while I shifted from park to drive. I was overwhelmed by the sheer feeling of driving it forgot to ask the owner about the noise. The hybrid is good though

Out of curiosity, when there are recalls requiring software updates, where are you guys getting this done?

Nobody I know yet has been affected with the recalls.
Guess it's one of the situation "when that bridge reach" type scenarios - as expected with a used car.

Personally I believe mine had an update from Japan before it came. I don’t have any way thus far of verifying this as yet but I dont have any of the issues the 2016 model experiences. In the little reading i did thus far, we may need an iHDS membership to do any software updates but I can’t confirm that. If you are buying a vezel, I would strongly advise cross referencing the chassis no with the TSB and if it falls within the range of a “recall” to undergo the software update you can either:
1. Not buy it
2. Ensure it is updated there in Japan before importing. You are well within your right to do so especially if it is an auction vehicle and it was not stated if the vehicle was updated. (Most people know this but i decided to state it for those who may not know)

Honda Japan and Trinidad give relatively no support for these vehicles outside of mainland Japan. You can get part numbers etc via Honda Trinidad but that is about it for now.

Thus far however in the group of us locally I can safely safe we’ve had no major issues.

Yes those tsw are light, I have them on wife’s Mazda 3. Was looking at putting 20’s on vezel but I lowered mine with vogtland springs. Any help on tire size and offset.

If you're lowered try to remain close to factory width and offset. 7.5-8 width nothing less than 45 offset. Use the calculation at willtheyfit.com to dial in specific size
