Question: What type of brand is good for any car surface? and i get different views or tips on how to buff my car, but what is the best method? i know sometimes if you not careful you could tend to do more damage.

Fellahs, I dunno jack crap about cars ... not to mention polishing... HOWEVER after some experiments with a black vehicle... I tried Prestone (which is cheap and I will NEVER use any prestone product again - not even their belt dressings). I tried a turtle wax scratch remover (another cheap product that does not seem to work on black cars) and eventually bought the Turtle Wax ICE synthetic polish and just now rub down meh car... all I have to say "IT BESS" if you looking to shine it up nice nice.. I will show you pictures later after I pick up the gf. Stay "chuned"... BTW.. not to hijack the thread, interesting article...

first of all prestone is a cleaner wax
use it sparingly to clean tar and sap off the car
if u smell it its like kerosene
glad you got through eventually

Shucks man, I didn't see that in Car Plus, what is the price for that one? That polish work real good... I have one more problem, the dust still heavily attracted to the black paint, I can't seem to find anything to statically repel this kind of dust... I get up this morning and if you see how much dust stick up.. I suppose the breeze blow in the garage .. . steups... I hate dust!

i use the meguiars tech wax works sweet
the dust will be attracted to the car no matter the color it will blow off easier with the polish though
