I have a y11 qg15 e-throttle, and looking to install a autometer tach, was anyone ever successful in this ?

U need a tach adapter which sends the rpm signal to ur tachometer. Ive done it on my b15.

I got through without using an adapter, the guy used the signal wire from the tranny brain.

Good for you bro. Sometimes information is not always forthcoming unless you search or have a mechanic to go to

go by anil, all these brains does have the RPM wire on the brain.

What about a "jumpy" tach needle? Any fix for this? Went from coilpack to distributor on a ck engine change years ago and never could've gotten it fixed.
