Wire harness??

Postby Coppershot » June 2nd, 2004, 3:15 am

i know plenty stuff about but i duuno everything.(as yet)

but when somebody selling and an engine with harness cut ??

i not sure if the harness or the front clip is the same thing ???(could be the plug for all de wires)???

does that mean the ecu and the wires have to be rewired by an electrician.
and if so, is it possible to get the ecu wired up already so is a simple engine swap.

i hear is $1500 to do elertical for an sr20...i aint sure dat true but daz plenty $$.
So it it possible to get and engine with everything hook up already from the bamboo etc.

once the harness for the ecu connection is uncut then it's ok and $1500 for a wire ik really high i find
if you changing the type of engine, then more than likely you need an electrician to perform the rewire task for you
most harnesses can only be used on way and common sense would also dictate where some other jacks go

I SAY TO HELL WITH HE, WENT ON THE NET AND GET A WIRING DIAGRAM AND A PIN OUT DIAGRAM AND DID IT MY SELF. THAT WAS 2 YRS AGO AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBS.
