Postby adri 2nr » May 18th, 2005, 7:25 pm

saw this for sale in triple R today ..any of you all use this?..i was wondering as the distance got shorter if it means you cannot ride the clutch..as for cases of traffic ..etc? does it make sense for a daily driven car?

it's a simple bolt-on device to shorten pedal throw...basically inspead of having to floor the clutch between shifts, u end up disengaging the clutch halfway down the usual movement...I doh see why it'll make it any more difficult to balance in traffic except that ur foot will be a bit higher...u still working out your yuh calf muscles

think of it like replacing the long bands in those old dinosaur equalizers with one half the length...u get the same adjustment, just that u have a shorter distance to move it between min and max...

u might temporarily lose the accuracy with balancing because of it, but u'll get used to it I guess
