advice needed for problem with wingroad

Postby daring dragoon » March 1st, 2017, 8:04 pm

got a nissan wingroad with the big triangle lights. A few problems pop up today....
1. the brakes light stuck on lit, everything off ( the ignition, park light , head light) and the two brakes light lighting up, the one on the back windshield stop working.
2. The click that you hear when you mash the brakes to release the vehicle from park to reverse or drive not working, I can shift the car from park to drive or reverse without mashing the brakes. I checked the release button and it wasnt pressed down.
3. The car like it lost power, i tried to overtake on the hiway and the kickoff that i would feel as i mash the gas is gone. the car just driving an i x to board and it only reaching like 60.

Is this a sensor or fuse blow or somthing?

Get a replacement (if it's a Y10 Wingroad the B13 stopper will work) and follow the brake pedal arm upward until you come to a bracket with a hole in it. That hole is in-line with the brake light switch.

Then just snap it into place making sure that the flat side of the stopper is facing the brake light switch.

Replaced one in a T30 Xtrail with a normal nut and bolt.

Buy a replacement rubber and push it back in where it came out.

x2...endorsed

did this with my corolla...i used a short 10 bolt and nut. i had to grind the threads off the bolt to fit properly tho but one less headache to worry about rubber rotting
