Synthetic oil for GA15 engine

Is it safe to use synthetic oil in a GA15 engine? If it is what grade is recommended ?

Buddy you was under a rock.Synthetic oil is the sheit.Use Amsoil 20w 50

Thanks was just thinking i should try it...I use to use Pennzoil 5w30 synthetic in my SR18..Unfortunately we can't get Amsoil in St.Vincent

If you don't race or drive hard then it is waste of money.
Get a decent quality conventional oil and keep up with your oil change intervals. Put the money elsewhere

GA15DE using NP Ultra 20w50 for years.
valvoline /shell / castrol 20w50 required regular topups being run over 4000rpm religiously. Level constant with the NP
