Help needed for RB20de

Postby Twang » August 21st, 2017, 10:26 pm

After driving for a while my car getting a serious loss of power. It doesn't want to rev pass 4500rpm, like a power cut. When downshifting, it will just stutter & cut off. This happens when d temperature is running high. I changed MAF, air filter, fuel pump & filters & a foreign used coolant sensor but still d same problem. Can anyone help me fix this problem please. Thanks in advance

I did a fuel pressure test & it read 70psi. D guy who did I said it supposed to be around 120psi. I don't know if that's correct.

Something wrong there. My car runs on idle @ 38psi. Change your mechanic/technician.

I mean like when d engine warm, while driving. I just did another system fuel pressure test by my electrician & it was around 50psi but then dropped to about 20psi. I most believe my fuel pump gone tru
