Silicone is not recommend for oil.


there are oil resistant silicone hoses called flurosilicone - its essentially a oil resistant line :wink:

leme know if you find anything. if not I will have to buy a straight one, cut and weld it at a 90 deg yes.

is best I followed rene's advice and done.

Copper/ steel line looks like more problems in that situation. I would check a hardware for a spring as rspann suggested.
Other than that, I'm almost certain I saw 90 deg. barbed brass connections at Bhagwansingh's, 3/8" and 1/2", never looked for 5/8".

Ok, so the wire had a bad bend in it.

I got some aluminium wire and wrap the hose in it like a spring. Had a bad bend on a piece of the wire hence an anomalie in the wrap. So far so good
