T32 Xtrail jerking while driving.

Seeking advice and assistance with my car, i have a Nissan 2014 xtrail brought, from Massy. The vechicle is almost 5 yrs old, while driving between 20-60km/h the vehicle jerks aggressively. Nothing shows up on the console indicating a problem and it only stops when you release the accelerator pedal.

I have done numerous scans, change engine and transmission fluid and filters, have a transmission specialist check out the transmission, replaced spark plugs, and service the throttle body or intake valve. But the problem still is ongoing and occurring every time while driving.

Can someone please suggest a possible problem and solution?

seems as though you covered the basics - change oils and filters and such -

did you have someone perform a live parameter scan while driving ? or was it just scanned when parked up.??
have the ECU and TCU and other modules checked

check ryotech performance - google him- have a live scan done on the vehicle so you can actually see what is happening while driving....

This is a long shot but have you checked engine mounts and or bushings

Might need to provide a little more info... Is the jerking accompanied by random gear selection or sudden decreases or surges of engine power. Does it happen when the transmission is shifting when accelerating.

The only thing i have not done yet with the vehicle, is to service the injectors. The jerking is constant, as mentioned a transmission specialist checked the vehicle (said the transmission was working perfectly), no faults shown via the scan while parked or while driving, the problem was happening while being driven and scanned.

Not easy to help you if you don't answer some of the questions posted above

normal problem noting new, y12 does it, tiidas do it, xtrails, sylphys basically all nissan CVT does it. HR and MR galore.

if you are responding to the engine mounts being inspected then yes they were and are in good condition.

Ted_v2 please kindly say what about the CVT is defective? as i have owned Nissan vehicles before and never experienced this problem.

That system needs to be tested professionally (Parameter Analysis) using Nissan software before throwing money on parts and services.... Firstly, what is the mileage on that vehicle? Contact me on whatsapp 469-7803 or contact me via my facebook page. I do not visit this forum often.

running did you check your plugs , is there any oil on the tips ,is any of the plug tips blackened to indicate misfiring . when they were running the diagnostic was any cylinder running hotter than the other ?
these symptoms appears to be coil pack or plug . but its difficult to diagnose without seeing the car

i dont believe is injectors
the fuel we get in trinidad is clean . my prarie is 18 years old and never had a fuel issue or had to change a fuel filter . unlike the sheit diesel we used to get from petrotrin

+1. This sounds as if it may be CVT belt slip.
