If the headlight has a little more work and scratches the 3M kit works great!

Some feedback here, the aerosol coating after a while does deteriorate and the process will have to be redone in around 1 year to upkeep it... It's worth it tho

they were pretty bad. The top half where the headlight lives was totally opaque. There are some age cracks too, but nothing can fix that
I feel I should have buffed some more but it was late and I'm lazy

Krylon UV Resistant Clear Acrylic Coating can be used also.
Use your own abrasives to sand and polish.

Because those cracks are too deep, or because they're on the inside of the lens?

Think I have some of that cracking on one of my headlights. Was seriously thinking about separating the lens from the housing and attempting to repair it. Waste of time attempting that?

If it's glass, have a go... But plastic headlights no matter who advertise what sealant and all that. Once that inner coating gets touched by anything it just seems to go downhill pretty quickly

Damn. Thing is, the way my garage situated, that one headlight collects a little more direct sunlight/weathering every morning, while the other is completely spared. Might try repairing just to see what happens. Thanks for the heads-up though.

The best thing is to get a straightener to buff the headlights, apply clear coat and rebuff. Will last years.

Or buff and visit Sign Boss to apply clear lens tint.
