^^^ I actually came across a post of yours recently while researching this topic suggesting the use of methylated spirit. I used it when changing brake pads on my own for the first time, with much thanks to this thread 8-)

Isn't there a sale on now at Ford with Ranger parts? I saw an ad in the newspapers over the weekend.

i've done this before but last time which was 2weeks ago. after bleeding my pedal became 'spongy' its not feeling the same. changed calipers, bled over like6 times same issue. took out the master cylinder ,didnt see any residue. any idea whats the issue? the disc does have some lines but it was holding before the brake change. nice post btw

Sometimes it builds back the pressure after driving for some time ......as long as there is no leaks in the system
