hey guys im looking for a nissan c33 laurel 4pot brake upgrade
can you help me out with some info
how do you go about doing it
will the r32 or 300zx caliper work with the stock c33 rotor
i was also thinking of re drilling the skyline GTR or GTS-T rotors to 4 hole and use them
will the caliper bolt up with the bigger GTR or GTS-T rotor or will i have to use an adapter plate or sum?

does the almera spindle drop in my ball joint an my b1 has the big axles would they fit?

is it possible to take the front & back spindles etc.. from a r32 or similar and bolt it up to my b15 front end?? i just want to know my options... and what else i could do ..

Guys we've run into a little hurdle. A friend of mine is curentlu doing the R32 unsing Y11 spindles on his RN14 pulsar. Because the point where the tie-rod end bolts on is shorter on the Y11 the length of the rod, even when fully adjusted, is not enough to get proper toe/allginment- or even look striaght for that matter

Has anyone done this on the Pulsar, what is needed?

try using u14 spindles. or almera.

^^ no.

The b15 spindles front you can get the front calipers to work with no alteration. The rotors like you would've read just need redrilling/machining on the diameter. For the rear you can go with P11 or P12 (calipers and rotors ) that are bigger.

I need help guys .I have a 1.8 gts b13 and I upgrade my front brakes with the y11 zv-s 11" spindle which is 4x114 . Now I want upgrade and convert my rear disc to 4x114 also . I was told that the p10 rear hubs should bolt right on to the b13 spline ,also using the 92 j30 maxima rear rotors and calipers , just have to get the rear rotors re-drill . Is this set up possible , can any one shed some light on this conversion please ..........

Hope i won't b causing too much pain by reviving this thread...but um...for the FB-15, I'm going with 26mm aluminum Z32 calipers n rotors up front...keeping the BMC setup for now and currently have the P11 rear suspension swapped in for the rear dics brakes...
What about the ABS? About ten mins after the P11 swap the ABS light came on...is this because of bad sensors...or is it just incompatible? A jamaican guy i spoke to who'z suppsedly a whiz at this told me i should have used the U14 rears,but couldn't exactly confirm the ABS issue...had me checking the gears/teeth on the ABS reluctor rings etc :|
By now i think i know the major differences b'twn the P11 and B15 rears by the amt of times i've dug it up..just can't figure out the ABS thing..and no i don't have a multimeter to test the sensors either..

Interesting, when you find out more please share with us. I know my buddy has recently done his fronts on a B15 and don't recall him having an issue.

My issue is the REAR...goddam ABS light stays on.
Machined the original ABS rings to fit the P11 rear axle...got it to line up almost close enough with the original b15 sensors (shorter than P11 sensors)...but apparently not enough for it to clear the ABS trouble code.
The P11 and B15 sensors are also made up differently...the P11 seems to b magnetic and the b15 electro-magnetic maybe :?: ...cuz it doesn't grab on to every piece of metal as the P11 does.
Gonna source some new P11 sensors and try that...if they don't work...might as well grind off a piece of the knuckle so the sensor would bolt further in and get up closer to the ABS ring...car stops much better with the setup (original front + P11 rear) but i just hate seein trouble lights on my dashboard


Here's a look at the calipers..got the pics from another popular site...hope that won't b a prob

i have the older of the new models...if i can say that...there's the one without the tach n the one with the tach and interior that looks somewhat like the almera interior....i have the prior

swapped b'twn the two...left each for a week of driving...various styles and braking intensities...nothing so far...but the original sensors just barely reach the ABS rings in the position they're housed now...

not the abs ring, i meant original ABS SENSOR on the spindle.......from what ive been told it may carry a different voltage wen doing swaps.

i have used both sets of sensors and both sets of ABS rings...however...the position the ABS rings r in now may b the problem, as the original b15 sensors may not b aligning properly with the ABS reluctor rings

This is the Brembo setup from an Evo9 that is currently on my R32. The plan is to adapt it for the
B/N 14/15. the R32 needed a 5mm offset to centre the rotor using brackets designed for the S14.

PROZAC I just noticed you mentioned the pedal is soft with that setup.

Brembo front and standard 2-pot rear? What size BMC?
