If budget permits I'd like to get one.

Anyone have experience with the Qg18 and the difference in power between it and the SR20? In the event of an engine change if it makes any sense to go with it?

Handles very descent. Acceleration not as bad considering it's a fairly large vehicle.
Bess for the highways daily runs I make

Very common locally for Primera owners to make that economic engine swap.
I wud prefer to spend a $6k and install a Neo vvl

About that swap though I find that the Y11 wingroad accelerates effortlessly with the QG18 and I saw some P11s with that engine too. Never priced a Qg18 though.
I was also told that it's harder to get parts for the NEO than the basic SR. With all that said, I had to come here to get some feedback/opionions from actual owners (you guys).
Right now though, I need to carry mine for injector servicing.

The y11 way lighter. Some p11 come with the qg18 and I want to believe is the ones that have drum brakes in the back. The rear disc brakes one were the sr18. And well the m6 came with the sr20. At least so I was told. Mine is 4 wheel disc brakes sr18

Yeah that part have me confused too. Never knew it came with a QG till I read Wikipedia. The one i got is SR20 and 4 wheel disc brakes (don't know what mods were done besides the extractors). Works well so far.

@racedriverpro: yeah man! That QG18 is crazy!!

Back again with two questions: where can I get aftermarket lights and kits for the P11 and when the time comes, i want to change the exhaust. Anyone know a good muffler guy and what size barrel would you suggest? The stock barrel annoying the hell out of me. Sounds like it filled with soot.

Abt the lights dunno. But in terms of exhaust barrel. Go with the stock. I have the original calsonic . No noise good performance. Changing to aftermarket parts are not always a good move as it may affect vehicle performance in a negative way

True that. Thing is the one i got (i believe it stock?) is a down pipe with a canister. I'll try to post pics later. To me it feels like it's affecting performance but u guys have more experience than me on the best course of action.

Can you guys recommend someone to thoroughly check my P12 tranny?
Have to do a service and recently changed both speed sensors on it.
Whenever rpm goes over 4,000rpm the tranny feels like it shifts into 'L' and stays there.
Have to switch off for a few second and start back to proceed with driving.
Very annoying when trying to overtake on highway.
Located in Diego Martin btw.

That used to happen with my b13. Serviced the valve body and it stopped. Was like driving normal and a lower gear comes in and stays there. Engine rpm singing out had to pull over and start back to drive again. But carry it by someone good if its cvt though

It's weird but yesterday i started getting an unfamiliar sound when i come to a stop in my driveway. Like a clicking or low metal knock.
My brake pads seem to be wearing unevenly too.

Sounds like a sticking caliper pin guide or something in that area. Primera brakes are really good quality so it shouldn't be a difficult fix.

Figured something had to go wrong sometime. I'm not particularly good at conserving brakes.....
