Any gas tank rubber seal leaks?Check AFM ,also is according to your style of driving! My Qg15 would burn approximately $45 super hard driving an AC to POS from Sando an back.

how may kilometers of driving do you get from a full tank of gas and in what vehicle? It could very well be your style of driving as turbosingh pointed out.
Also, is your air filter clean?

Seeing that's a qg15 it's painfully slow and you probably put your foot in the gas to feel like you're going forward and meeting heavy traffic. Stop and go traffic is a beyotch on MPG. Stop trying to run down Tiidas and them.

True that the QG15 has one of the weakest accel. on the road today. I don't even try to race anyone, but my mileage is very good. I get an average of 490 - 510 km on a full tank with normal driving. I regularly change the air filter, add fuel treatment every 2mths or so, and use select gas stations because of bad experiences with fuel.

If you thinking like that put a vq20 (2.0L V6), it would take a lot less effort to move the ad wagon or B15.

Maintain engine, tyre pressure and train yourself to drive more economically would save you $$$.

All cars burn gas in order to move
Joke**

QG18 has vtc on the engine valve so driving at low speed would get you good mileage.
(You can research the purpose of vtc and how it works)

The BEST economical QG18 is the QG18DD that uses direct injection port and comes with cvt transmission in the p11 wagon. You get over 38mpg+...how much gains depends on your DRIVING HABITS as well.

by chance u smell gas when you now start the car? I saw somewhere that this could be the O2 sensor going bad. Not sure if that's true tho

Where do leave from to head to POS? You didn't say.

Next time you full up, reset the ODO Trip A so you can have an idea of how many km's you get per tank. I'd like to see what figures you getting.

Be easy on the gas pedal, you won't believe how much gas you save driving at 80kph compared to 100-120kph.

vtec-ghost yes i changed O2 sensor twice i put in a new one and i tried a foreign used one and yes i smell gas when it starts up but the problem guys is that it never used to do that.
if i drive from gasparillo to the bamboo and back at 100kph no kick down from full it reaches the second bar not even SR20 does do. but i am going to do a performing a parameter analysis today and see what happens if i drive at 80kph with AC on it drinks gas.
