Tiida air conditioning issue

Postby @lex » January 27th, 2013, 11:22 am

good day ppl , a relative bought a 2006 tiida sedan , however wen the ac is place on the car is not cooling as it should be, you hear the click in the engine, then it jus clicks again a few seconds after seeming as thou its cuttin back 'off', the blower is just blowing normal air. Car is still under warranty but just wanted to know what could be this problem. Thank you

from what you're indicating it sounds like the compressor engages and disengages right after.
you get this issue when the refrigerant is low.
check the refrigerant level and top off....might as well pressure test the system first make sure theres no leaks or clogs on any of the lines......then gas up with R134A...

also dont forget to change the air filter on the air condition system-

Cool...because the price for the Tiida air condition compressor is VERYYY costly! Your best option is to let the dealer sort you out while under warranty lol.

Can any experienced person give an idea of the proper low side an high side pressure readings for a nissan tiida at ambient temperature being 80F (~27 degrees Celsius) with cold engine. Thanks
