A33: Japanese or Singapore?

Postby CB Style » August 19th, 2013, 1:36 am

Hey folks,
I'm interested in getting an A33 cefiro/Maxima. Recently I've been researching around this forum on getting info about this model and so far from what I see, parts for the Singapore models is much harder to get than the Japanese. So I might narrow down my search to just Japan models. My question is how can I tell which model came from Japan or Singapore. I've been told the one w/ the name badge "Maxima" is from Neal and Massy and is just like the Japan model. So far The only differences I see is some have a shorter bumper and some has a projector type fog light as oppose to the fog light/intersection light combination. How do I identify which one is Japan or Singapore?

OK, I've been informed the Singapore model has Leather seats and Japanese model is fabric. Any more info. about the difference between Singapore/Japan models will be greatly appreciated.

the chassis number for the singapore model is longer than the japanese model.....I know this for certain for the J31 cefiro/teana, and I think such is likewise for the a33

Some of the sensor connectors are different between the Singapore and Japanese models.
Which is why sometimes they ask you to verify the model when you go to purchase parts in the bamboo.
