Review on Nissan Qashqai (new model)

Postby catalan24 » November 26th, 2016, 3:13 pm

Hey guys, I am considering purchasing this vehicle as everything from looks to performance seems good. However, I just wanted to get some second opinions from actual owners about the vehicle. Thanks

Hey ,thanks for the review..how about seat spacing for a year old toddler...I found that the car seat really picks up alot of space.

Have a local PDG from Massy, earlier this year the radiator fan stopped working. Was replaced in warranty tho

If you do buy one, don't make the mistake and put in big wheels - stick with the originals. I agree that they certainly look nice and it's a Nissan. Space may be a bit tight for that child's seat. Just take it with you in the showroom! We have to start demanding everything we want to know about a vehicle before buying from a some lazy a$$ salesman who don't even want to take you for a test drive... And in some real Trini roads too, not the highway

well i am upgrading from a tiida, so hopefully it will atleast be bigger lol as for the minor issue with the radiator fan which was resolved by the warranty, I am really hoping not to be the unlucky one to experience any major issues.

Nissan12...u are right, the salesman should really work for this sale as its not really small $ forking out here. really hoping its a worthwhile vehicle as I'm also considering a used rav4 as well. I have some experience with the rav4 as my dad has one and its really good, no issues thus far.

Rad fan is an issue with these cars even the first gen model but apart from that and the oil consumption due to failure or lack maintenance on the egr system they are good. Biggest expense is the subframe when the bushings go bad.

4X4 model seems to have some suspension noise issue.
Front suspension sounds like an old van , creaking at every bump and hump.
Heard it from day 2.
I am taking it to get checked next week, but the word is from other owners Massy knows what the issue is and fixes it.
Will try to get some details.
