Serena Advice?

Postby rshageer » January 26th, 2018, 2:56 pm

Hey All,
Was reading the poll on the link here and was wondering a bit about it.

I have a 2010 Serena that i'm looking to buy and I think it fits my needs, and while I've been hearing some good things about it, i've also been hearing;
  1. They have an overheating problem
  2. They are not built for tropical climates (in the thread linked above)
  3. They sometimes lose power
While I like the vehicle alot, I'd really like to hear from owners what they think of it in general.
Can anyone offer some advice?

Those vehicle suffer from an inherent cooling issue throughout

invest in a good 3 core aluminum radiator - for the engine and proper coolant - zerex
a good standalone external transmission oil cooler for the transmission - something like B&M oil coolers

if its CVT just be sure to change ur CVT oil on time - NS2 / NS3 as required... and do proper maintenance.
