WTK: How to change Tiida cluster light (behind speedometer)

Postby theblitz » June 1st, 2018, 12:05 pm

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you change the lights behind the speedometer of a Tiida? I removed the cluster and there is no typical twist off bulb sockets like on other cars with T10 and T5 bulbs. All I see is the flat circuit board. Only the speedometer light isn't working, the backlight on the sides are working.

can you load up a pic of what youre seeing??
maybe then we can assist.

the LED may be directly soldered onto the printed circuit board.
and if thats the case it may not be able to change locally.

it can change - just need someone with good soldering skills and magnifying glasses and a replacement LED

alternatively if you can find a re work station locally - they can do it for you.
