Anyone know where I can get exhaust packing locally ? It's like a heat resistant cloth material made of asbestos /fiberglass found in the exhaust silencer . Need it for a 2 stroke dirt bike

It was the last model for that era. The new 2017 model carries the same engine but with more eletroinic control.
Did not like the electronics so I took the raw bike instead. Love riding it but only manage to do 400miles on it. Brought some upgrades for it so will try and post as I put them on.
I could be wrong but I think is the best 600. It looks better than the others in it class. I know Honda men will think differently.

To expensive for carbon bits plus only 1% can really handle this bike to its full potential

Ok folk got some goodies for the R6 upgrade. Not pictured is the Tidy tail , flush mount indicators and exhaust module.
Exhaust is SP engineering slip on from the UK which is bang for the buck.
Will installed them over carnival and post pics.

I wanted a new Bike cause I did not trust used bikes and the folks that sell them in Trinidad also the hassle of importing one myself.
Buying a use bike is a trap, most are imported as scrap and re-built which means it can be a death trap. Plus L/O will have issues with it.
I rather pay knowing I have a safe bike with no issues that will be under warranty and service .

That's a quite interesting article, actually. I do understand the importance of protective gear, you either save your money or save your life. That's why I prefer to choose gear wisely and a used helmet is not what I want, it's impractical. Here check this page and look for yourself. I prefer comfortable headgear adjusted specifically for my needs and I think that used one can barely satisfy me.
