So the sportero went from 275K leather fully loaded to 299k leather fully Loaded???

Car sales in the shitter and prices increasing? Piss being called rain?

The BAIC is on sale at the same price?

Well TBH, according to Google, sale could take either of the meanings below, so yeah, they could be on sale while defined by meaning 1, but we are hoping that it's meaning 2.

Regardless, that's nonsense tho.

Sale:

1. The exchange of a commodity for money; the action of selling something.

2. A period during which a shop or dealer sells goods at reduced prices.

They prolly figured out that people gonna come in and ask for discounts ... So they raise price and then say sure, take 25k off the price.

What model Mazda 6 does SS have now? And is the price in this thread accurate for it?

The funny thing here with the Sportero is that there has been a new model out approximately a year now and Ansa is still offering this dated model.

Nonetheless, it's a good van.

And it still isn't going to be sold at least until mid next year according to ansa

I think there’s a slight mix up. The price increase is due to the fact that ANSA included a free maintenance package upfront. So all in all, it not that bad. $299k is still $50k cheaper than the Frontier X-Gear and $54k cheaper than a fully equipped Hilux which does not offer any free servicing with those prices.

Lol... That is a funny seeing as you have to "pay" for your "free" maintenance

Randolph, I stand corrected. I recognize that the 2 year free service campaign started on June 8th based on their fb post.

So its 2 years or 40,000kms whichever one comes first for the Rush or Hilux.

In other news, SS increased the price of the Kia Seltos from $210k to $219k.

Not seeing any change with the exception of the $5k off on the Mazda 3 core and core+ models.

Mazda 3 is crazy good looking inside and out ... 96 months financing is crazy ... dont see the sense in financing a car over 60months .... too much interest to be paid doing that.

The pricing and financing here is insane. It's almost akin to paying a mortgage at this rate...
Now that I've finally saved the down payment I thought would be sizable, I've changed my mind after looking at financing options....
Decided I'd save a little more then borrow 100k and pay it back over a 4 year term.

IIRC, FCB had a 10 year financing term recently for brand new vehicles. Considering the exorbitant prices for vehicles down here, expect 8+ terms to be a norm because 7 year terms existed since 2012.

They offered it for ansa right before Christmas. It's gone, the most right now I believe is 8 with Massy. Everyone else back to 7yr term. But there's like a 4% IR loan sale until August

The cheapest new vehicle sold by the authorized dealer in this country belongs to the Toyota Agya 1.0 (65-66hp?) which is $115,000.

With 10% down, your loan amount is now $103,500. At 4.5% interest over 8 years, this would yield a monthly installment of $1,300. inclusive of admin fees embedded.

With a 40% TDSR, the above example means, anyone with a monthly salary of $3,300. can own a brand new car!

And I think it's safe to say, almost all employed people in this country make a gross monthly income which is above $3,300.

On the roro side of things, I think the Aqua (99hp) is probably one of the cheapest within the grey market. Let's say $80k tops for a loaded G model. At 20% down, 5.5% interest and 5 years to pay back, it yields a monthly installment of approx. $1,300. as well.

By the time the Agya's loan is paid off for, that vehicle is obviously 8 years old and might be worth $30k if you lucky.

By the time the Aqua is paid off for, it would be 9 years old and you also might get a $30k for it.

You get a bigger car, a faster car, a more feature packed car, an equally as fuel efficient or if not better car with less resale value loss.

Choice is clear.

In my opinion, I would not say outside. The side profile is inline with the hatch ... just a flat surface. Initially it was looking better than the hatch in pics but seeing it on the road , the previous side profile was better.

$550K for a bottom of the barrel spec Wrangler Sport. I wonder what would be HSM's after sales support be like though, in terms of parts, servicing and warranty? From what I've heard LSM will in no way offer any after sales support to units not sold by them (parts and definitely no service support). If you have a half a million to spend, is better you put out the extra $$$ and get a much better spec Sport from LSM, with full after service support and a much better warranty.

The Gladiator is beast though! That probably already sold.
