Overheard two guys talking about this in popular watering hole in POS yesterday. I was maccoing ....
This could be a big blow to their business.

Wow is that due to the tax increase cause the WRX was going for 360K only 4 years ago ...

thinking the STi is ADM - 2.5 ltr hence the price...(tax regime increased on this size of engine as well from 4 yrs ago iirc)
If the WRX is FA2.0 - why pay 1/2 mil for a subaru?

Currently, there are 5 hybrids and 1 electric vehicle available for sale by the local authorized dealerships. They are:
Toyota Prius C
Hyundai Ioniq
Hyundai Ioniq EV
Kia Niro
Porsche Cayenne*
Porsche Panamera*
I know there were model changes on the Porsche's so I am not sure if the hybrid options have continued. A TTTL rep told me that it is possible to specially import the Prius and Camry Hybrids but it would not make economical sense to do so. Also, we may see a RAV4 2.0 Hybrid for sale soon so stay tuned (this is left to be seen). Lastly, I heard for obvious reasons, ANSA McAL refrained from hybrids to push out-dated CNG technology. Now that LDGTT has the rights to BMW, let's see where this goes in terms of offering us "premium" hybrid and electric options.
