I called and they said they had a 2.5L hybrid available for something ridiculous over $600K.
Not bad ... sounds cheaper than TTTL.
Who would pay that for a RAV4? The benefits of being hybrid are outweighed by the price imo.

You're right in that those are luxury brands but everyone has a different perception of luxury. If a man that was driving a box Lancer for years was able to buy a Hilux after some time, and that's his perception of luxury, who are we to say or be bothered otherwise?

I guess by that logic I can understand another perspective... but I prefer to call a spade a spade. A hilux, RAV4, X Trail, Fortuner etc is just not classified as luxury vehicles.
