To tell you the truth, I dust them about 2-3 times a year or whenever the wife gets on my case. This collections goes back to 1996 when I bought my first car. My last purchase was about 3 years ago when I got a R32. The most precious model that I have is a Lamborghini Muira Jota.
Unfortunately most of the models have broken parts. Like broken wipers, missing emblems, broken wheels. This is because I let my kids play with them when they were younger. I remember my youngest daughter would break something on one of the models whenever I spanked or shouted at her......she is 22 years old now. So we often sit and look at the damaged models and have a good laugh.
These days I'm waiting on the grand kids to come along and have their turn playing with these models. I know some may say that these models should be kept in the box and not touched, but when u have kids all that goes out the door. So I tell people that my collection has lots of mileage on them.
I'll send some better pics another time.
