Turbosingh, Chain Brain is my uncle, had me on that bike since I knew myself, its great to see someone else who knows about him and that bike. It was real special, it had lancer pistons in it and cb900 carbs and I think it ran 10s at Wallerfield. It was a real beast. I have missed that bike ever since he sold it and we never saw her again. But in future I hope to build a replica. Chain Brain SOUTH'S MADDEST AND BADDEST!

Tried posting earlier today, something went wrong.
does anyone have pics of Motor Cycle (125ccmax) racing which used to take place in Skinner Park around 69?
Any old, old person remember a guy from the Jarvis St / Manjack St area, who used to modify and ride anything? His name was Errol John, AKa as Ronnie.Once put a Vespa engine on a bicycle, the first man to put a rotary in a Mini (rear wheel drive), V8 in a Toyota land cruiser, introduced dune buggies to TT, modified a Renault with gull wing doors, you had to sit like you were in a open wheeler. ? he also got Zig's cam grinding machine operational, when they first brought it in.
A daughter of his still has his modified Honda, can't remember the CC, but used to beat a lot of bigger bikes in Waller Field.

Good thread .

I asked one of my associates who has maybe ridden every bike worth riding in Trinidad for a long time 1970 some forward about the CBX 1000. He had not much to good to say about it , heavy not fast comparably speaking as a "superbike "and good but not great handling even at that time.
