My EVO 7 4G64 Budget Build - Stock Frame dyno results

Postby wana-B-racer » June 2nd, 2013, 7:12 pm

Started a collection of parts for my EVO 7 REVAMP. My build will not be outrageous with Expensive Popular Brands. I’m using everyday brands that everyone knows about and could afford. The build will be a LR 2.4 using a 4G64 Block from a Galant and an EVO 7 head I had from my previous engine.

Very nice, where did you get the intake from? What you going to do for management?
Planning a 4G63 build too.

Intake bought from Evom for a reasonable price.
Management will be stock ecu.

Yeah got some bad reviews with sealing from cometic Wanted to use the Power Enterprise Head-Gasket, and some L19 Studs. May happen later on perhaps.

My Power goal for this build realistically is 375WHP - 425WHP using SUPER :?: with WATER/METH.
Seeing that this is my daily driver. I'm not going to be tuning with race gas. Once i can get Mid to high 300 reliable then i will be happy.

Subscribed. Since you are on a budget build a opensource reflash tuning via ecuflash and evoscan would be the best option for you. Either do it yourself or check W2J or Silvermike.

I want to do 2.4LR as well, but I pretty much done my mods for this year. Next year will be 2.4LR, build transfer case, gearbox and ETS HTA3586

What are your power goals? a 2.4 on that turbo will make some mean torque early in the band. Make sure to go easy on the transfer case.

Not a very well known brand. Was looking at a set of those recently.
