Looks much better ..congrats...I know you said Later on for cosmetic stuff ...but updated front bumper in the works ?...coilovers installed or first drive impression as yet?

Yup, either front bumper or install the Type-R front lip for now

Coilovers in hand but not installed due to some of the Shrader/ Schrader valves getting broken while shipping...trying to source the valves locally first, if not I'll ship them in

No first drive yet, but will definitely post updates when we get to that stage

thanks man!...project has been on hold a little while now to help prep wallerfield for last weekend's race..hopefully we should resume work this week!

lots of new stuff in hand so once time permits, updates will be in order..

update (sorry, no pics):

got the urethane mounts installed and mount bracing designed and fabricated, just to put in place

should have the radiator/ condenser/ slim fans installed today and get her running again

oh and the brakes are sorted!

coilovers repaired and ready to be installed

fart cannon exhaust removed and dual 3" resonator installed

OK so finally some updates...trying to finish up the engine bay, getting radiator, fans, condenser.

Mount braces installed, time to clean up and paint.

As you see, clearance is tight but it all fits! :evilbat:

UPDATES!!

1. Finalised the hood scoop with some nice big-headed rivets

2) Trimmed inside the scoop for better clearance

3) Belts, radiator, fans etc finalised

4) Intake cover painted

5) GOT HER RUNNING AGAIN!!

Can't remember how to upload videos but I'll try in a little while...enjoy the pics guys!

Didn't someone do this kinda build before? A orange RX7 I think. Saw it a few years ago.

Build was similar but using a smaller engine and manual.

This project was started before that one I think (2006).

You mean under-engine shield?? Well amazingly enough, the OEM one still fits!!
