D ranger better suited for trinidad roads
While d evo is best for track or rallying
Its your choice partner

After a few years the evo will still hold its value, doubt the ranger will be worth anything in the same time frame opie.

IMO a Subaru/Evo is just the perfect all round car (AWD, 4 doors, Fast, looks good, rally roots so they could take licks) unless you stance it out like dem chupidies dem..

Ranger
pros: 4x4 get you where you need to be fast on trini bad roads
good if you regularly need to transport large objects like furniture
good family/all purpose vehicle
cons: heard bad reviews of things malfunctioning a few months after purchase and long waits for service parts and expensive fees.

EVO10
pros: You'll be smiling every time you have to drive somewhere.
It's an EVO
good family/sports car
cons: Subaru men constantly wants to race you
Its not an EVO9

I had that dilemma once... and that was when I was studying if to buy the new navara... or a used evo.

Well... got the evo in the end, but while the decision wasn't one I regretted, in hindsight, I would have taken the van.

More practical in the end just like any car, you can do little stuff to it to make it what you want it to be.

The evo is a fast practical "ish" car and you will enjoy having it, but with the van you just can do more.

Personally I'd buy none of them.

It all depends on what's your purpose.

What you need done?

It's all about you daily need.
For me I need a car as opposed to a van
Hell i can drive a two seater all year round, my backseat is always empty
- I don't live on a hill/Bush/Bumpy road
- No kids
- Nothing to tote [only when is grocery time, trunk for that]
- 95% of my daily run is on the highway
- Car uses super, savings from using diesel not gonna be that much extra

Similar here......

New Navara(less money on fuel for a change) vs Evo X (because.........)

Pls note the vehicles are not being compared directly against each other :|

Personally I'd buy a wrx. For less than 80k it's the bomb. You can carry a family yet still have enough fyahz to keep you occupied.
