i really cyar remember yuh PM..but to be honest... understand what you want from the car before delving in. If its just a A-B you doing, then restore your body to top condition. If its a racer you building as a weekend blaster.... know who doing your conversion.
DollarSavers in the bamboo have most of the lights (front/rear..not fogs tho) for around $500 per light. It have a scrap yard in Central that you can get doors and door skins for roughly the same price...$500-700. But you hadda go in the vast scrap yard and look for yuh self.
I still have the original rotors and brake calipers for the front if you want them. Dont have the ABS rings tho..those broke. I bought new ones for my application. Also have the rear seat and rear deck. we cud talk a price if yours is broken/weathered.
But good luck man. if i had to do it all over, i'd kept the Rover VI engine... get the upgraded Headgasket kit for it...and massage the tutu out of it. It's a fun car
BANzai Rastafarai wrote:Good stuff.. nah those lights I opened up and did custom work on them.

Engine & gearbox are Honda.
The Rover 400 & the Civic shared many items dashboard, switches, exhausts, suspension, ignition, central locking etc etc
not the 200. entirely different car.

Tear the door interior panels out and replace with these
Picasso wrote:Spend time rip the engine and everything out and paint that engine bay over proper. Paint is all your project needs. Use the time to get the wiring issues sought out and neaten up your engine bay wiring (Zip ties, black loom, electrical tape, soldering gun and a scrapped harness can go a long way ) .
Get it done right, be patient and you will be surprised of the quality of the outcome.. This is a decent DIY project lots of room for you to be creative with tasteful unique mods.

That actually doesn't look half bad, although I'd prefer to retain the original look. Guess if that doesn't work out this would be the way to goPicasso wrote:Spend time rip the engine and everything out and paint that engine bay over proper. Paint is all your project needs. Yes the engine bay definately needs the majority of the work right now. All those straying wires and hoses need to be sorted out, and it could definately use a paintover.
What do you think is the better way to go, sort out electrical and then pull the engine and paint, or the other way around?
