Guys many moons ago there was a thread on importing used cars from Japan, which I successfully used 3yrs ago. A Co worker of mine who doesn't wish to share info has an import license and recently I saw he had some New XTrail Hybrid Suvs selling for about 230ish. All I know for sure is he went Thailand. He also says there's no MVT or VAT on Hybrids. So my questions are. 1. Is there really no taxes on importing Hybrids. 2. Does anyone have good links for new vehicles from reputable dealers in Japan or Thailand for vehicles like the XTrail Hybrid?
