how to register an old vehicle from foreign

Can anyone tell me if i bring down a old car from foreign what is the correct procedure to get it register...

unless u a returning resident then no u cant.

suggest u scrap the complete unregistered one and transfer the parts to a local registered vehicle....without tampering with the chassis number/vin code or paperwork.

You can be creative and get it in,you have to apply for special import license to suit your claims,it may be for business or business promo,who knows,just open up your mind a bit and you can make it happen.

Business is the key,T&T is very accommodating to business,and many loop holes exist to enable a business to accomplish what an individual cannot.

If my business plan requires a special vehicle that happens to be outdated to be successful I cannot be deprived of that opportunity,some very small limits in transferring and operating may be applicable but you can get it done.

Red Bull brought in an old MIni some years ago and it was registered BBS iirc...it can be done if you're magical enough

Not sure any magic was involved there, the Redbull Mini was manufactured in 1999 and registered PBS in 2004 when our 6-year Ro-Ro laws were still intact.........
AFAIK its the only MPi Mini in T&T.

as we oon that....the 'original 1967' Mini running on PBS plates....remind me again , what the plate on the Red Bull mini was?

That................is the magic you spoke of right there.
The story puts it between a rock and a hard place for sure.
Been looking for ages for pics of the RBmini when it was in its full glee, it was also a 3 digit plate.
