Why you don't ask a maxi man killa. Few tuners own maxi taxis.

If he gets no responses in this thread, he should just call Diamond Motors and get the price of the maxi himself. He can call his insurance company to get the insurance premiums.

Just the other day, I was in a service station and saw one of those Diamond Motors sold chinese built CNG maxis filling up. Out of curiosity I asked the owner how economical it was. The man face light up and told me that he is saving a lot of money in fuel with this maxi compared to his previous diesel engine one.

I could be wrong, but I believe he told me he is able to make the full bus route run about four times before he has to fill up.

^^ Which is pretty good.
A trip (Arima to PoS and PoS to Arima) is around $35 in diesel presently.
So it kinda puts you around $200+ in diesel per day if you rely on the line (city gate/arima) to get filled.
If not and you run up and down whole day, you will be in the $300+ range.

As for band prices, Red & Green = 100K or 110/120 depends on who selling.
Yellow, brown, black 60-80K.
Blue I think was around 50K last I heard.

You need a taxi badge, operators permit, class 3 drivers permit for "small" maxi and class 4 to drive "big".
To drive on the bus route you also need to do a defensive course.

Insurance will vary on your age/driving experience and value of the maxi.
Best to work with a 15% value for insurance.
Those Joylong things, should be around 300 or 350K and thats white....you need to add the value of the band to that.
So 450K if you want red or green.

Then the bank usually wants you to have the band already as you will get the loan for the vehicle alone and not everything. Plus the 10% downpayment for the vehicle and at least 1 year insurance (30K).
Yes, maxi insurance is very expensive if you are doing it right.

Oh and a big one is over 600K without the band.

Who say Serena for the road... lol
