My C class has a decent system but the loudest I heard stock was in my cousins Range, full Bose I believe, gets really loud with no distortion.

One of the best I heard was rspann's sclass back in the day.. that system was pretty dam good for a stock setup.

Close second is the s5 Audi B&O.. that output is very very pleasing even for a gallery injun like me

Of cars for the average man to own my sister has the CX5 (the previous version) and it came with a 9 speaker Bose setup. Very very decent.

Compared to what the other shotas were quoting above - Benz, Jaguar etc. it is.
But I hear you.

I eh go lie a CS3 Lancer factory system sounds pretty crisp for a budget car. Especially when you run your music digitally through it. Not saying it's comparable to a Bose or some top end sound system, but take a listen and see for yourself.

My first car was a CS3 and tbh the sound sytem was pretty horrid. Granted it was a RORO so I can't be sure it was stock. The head unit was an Alpine.

The only upgrades I ever do to that car was I changed out the 4 speakers and deck for an all Pioneer system within the first few months. Thereafter it was impressive.

Well, the CS3 i had was from the firm with a Mitsubishi head up, then I had another one from Singapore and that one I just upgraded the deck to a Sony Xplode and it was on par with the sound system from the firm. All four speakers we're factory.

Correction . I checked this morning and could only find 7 speakers. 4 on the doors and 3 on the front dash. Think the sub is under a seat to make it 8.

I stand by this decision. For a 10+yr old economy car, it surprised me.
