Spring Break Nationals 2013

Postby SR » February 18th, 2013, 8:10 pm

For Immediate release

February 12, 2013, - Daytona Beach, FL - The 27th annual Spring Break Nationals, the industry’s favored “Car Audio Party” is just around the corner. The event held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach marks the beginning of the Soundoff season. Presented by Scosche Industries, stepping in once again as SBN’s Gigawatt Sponsor, SBN 27 is a hot property on the social network scene. Followers of DJ BillyE, EXO and Bryan the CEO of MODIFIED YouTube fame are pumped in preparation for the event after thousands upon thousands of views of video scenes from the show. Entertainment at SBN includes urban artist Big Duece, presented by VIBE and the return of HD Ninja, a full live performing band who classifies their unique sound as “High Energy Nerdcore Hip Hop”.

SBN Media partners Performance Auto & Sound Magazine, MIAMI TV and Technology Tell are also on board promoting the event. Internet Media Partner MIAMI TV (which speaks directly to the Latino community) will bring emcee extraordinaire, the incredibly sexy Jenny Scordamaglia of “Jenny Live” to broadcast live from the event. Napco’s Technology Tell Magazine will offer industry exhibitors video production services and PASMAG, producers of the SBN Show Program will show some super rides in their booth.

The resurgence of brands the likes of Kenwood and SONY which had been missed over the past few years shows signs of forward movement. Joining the leading industry brands that display at SBN, newcomers VIBE, Mobileye and Bluetooth Wireless are set to “strut their stuff”. Adding to the excitement is the resurrection of a brand that fostered and dominated Soundoffs many years ago. ORION Car Audio, a leading brand that had been dormant for much too long will display at SBN. ORION Car Audio’s new ownership has a clear devotion to forward movement and recognizes that Soundoff is one of the best marketing tools our industry has ever had.

LESCO, national distributors of mobile electronics products will treat dealers in attendance with show specials while companies like JL Audio and Sony are planning on site dealer trainings. IASCA, MECA and dB Drag Racing Triple Point Competitions will play to the audience of spectators. In efforts to reduce the amount of noise on the show floor, SBN management relocates the SPL competitions to the Ocean Center Arena. Also to highlight companies like Hybrid Technologies and Linear Power that are dedicated to Sound Quality, a sound Q auditioning area will be located in the main lobby so that revelers can actually hear the subtle nuances that these remarkable systems can reproduce.

I'm not sure if IASCA got the servers up and running yet after they were moved from the Ocean Center. When this is done the results from SQ will be posted on the website.

temps outside dropped a bit low and many people suffered processor problems

also noted was the level some people dropped to just to get a trophy

next year we gonna enter a rental

but this year was a relaxing pace for the judges

First stop after getting the rental was Premier Factory Outlets to pick up a sweater and a jacket. Good thing I made it a priority.
