Requesting help for Rally tnt 2010 ( pics added)

Cars has been asked by the TTRC to help with marshalling for their upcoming RT10

CARS will be completely marshalling on the Bronte stage Sat and Sun mornings 27th and 28th March and we are asking for your assistance in marshalling

you will be payed a stipend of $150, drinks and lunch on both days and an RT10 Tshirt....

Marshalling puts you right up on the course to see Powell, Bourne, Higgins Lochan, Serrao, Armstrong, Wee Wee and the other RT10 stars slide by on the loose gravel

Note we have never had 40 entries( 20 4WD alone ) in a local rally and the likes of Mark Higgins ex British and WRC Driver and his Navi Nicky Grist who was the co-driver for Colin MCrae...

We will be having a training/practical session on Sun 21st March at the Bronte stage for marshalls....details to follow.

ok guys, for al those who confirmed

we are meetign tomorrow at 10:30am at the end of teh highway just before golconda lights.

we will then proceed to the rally stage where we will do a SLOW drive through to show everyone the course. we will set up marshals and do some slow trial runs.

a rally car will be present to show you the safety gear associated with same and how to use them in an emergency.
we will also have a session on marshaling held by a person of short statue lol

looking to be a very informative session.

we look fwd to seeing you all there.

ok....update

Our training/practical session fro marshalls is confirmed for tomorrow morning on the Bronte Stage....For all interested we will be meeting at the end of the hiway southbound for 10:30 AM ( on the shoulder before the Golconda lights )

In this session we will be covering a few basic how to for Marshalls. We have some very experienced Rally drivers and Navigators Jerome Lum Hung, Colin Khan and Kevin Mohammed who will be leading the session. Just a quick update... I don't think the rally car (well at least the Clio) will be there as we're still finishing preps for RT10.

However for thos of you that can make it... we're willing to accomodate you at Jerome's home where we are working on the car. This would be done after the training. It would a good idea to get familiar with stuff like the electrical cut off switch, harness release, etc.
