CARS will be in charge of marshalling the Bronte Stage on Saturday 30 March and Sunday April 1 and we are asking for your assistance in doing so. You will be
paid a stipend of $75.00 per marshall, per day, and lunch will be
provided on both days. You will also be provided with a Rally
Trinidad 2012 T-Shirt.

Marshalling puts you right up on the course to see Powell, The Bajan
and Jamaican teams battle with our local boys in what is the premier
event on the TTRC calendar for 2012.

Please call any of the following Executive members of CARS if you are
interested in signing up to marshall for this International Event.

• Gen Nath: 360 9641
• Roland Jaggernath: 357-1311
• Vishnu Charran: 684-6911
• David Jaggernauth: 357-1356
• Randy Rambhai: 685-0924
• Anthony Abraham: 384-2811
• Peter Arrindel: 735-2608

You can also email us your name and contact number at carstt@gmail.com
or go to our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/carstt to indicate your
interest. We would also appreciate a response by the end of this week
as the event is just around the corner and we wish to confirm
everyone’s participation ASAP.

We will be having a training/practical session on Saturday 24th March
at 9 a.m. at the Bronte stage. This session will provide you with
important safety details and brief you on what to expect during the
rally weekend. Please make every effort to attend this training
session.
Persons and their vehicles can assemble just after the left
turnoff heading toward Golconda, at the end of the Solomon Hochoy
Highway (southbound lane) and we will depart for Bronte promptly at 9
a.m. Please be mindful of vehicular traffic in the area and park off
the roadway.

CARS appreciates your assistance and looks forward to hearing from you.

I really can't make the briefing in the morning, can I still help with the marshalling for the rally? I was a marshall with CARS for Rally Trinidad 2010.

Volunteering as a marshall is a great way to get involved. You are just as much a part of the action as the drivers and codrivers.

For all those that will be joining us this weekend in marshaling for Rally Trinidad at the Bronte stage, please note the following:

* We will be assembling just after the left turnoff heading toward Golconda, at the end of the Solomon Hochoy Highway (southbound lane) on Saturday 31 and April 1 at 6.30 a.m. sharp. From there, we will proceed to the Bronte stage in convoy style where the appropriate information such as designated marshal points, safety equipment and instructions will be given out. Please arrive promptly, as we will be part of an international event where we must ensure that things run smoothly and on schedule.

* We recommend that you bring items which will keep you comfortable and cool throughout the day as such as umbrellas, chairs, hats, a cooler with food and drinks and of course, sunscreen. Also be sure to take your camera to snap some pictures of your favourite cars and drivers!

* Lunch will be provided by CARS on both days for all marshals.

* 1 marshal t-shirt will be provided to each person.

We look forward to seeing you all this weekend! It's going to be an exciting one!

Hi Folks,

Now that the dust has settled (hopefully it isn't still on your cars) and John Powel taking victory of Rally Trinidad 2012, CARS would like to thank all those who have assisted us in marshalling at the Bronte stage on Saturday 31 March and Sunday 1st April.

We appreciate your time and support and our Chief Marshal, Mr. Colin Khan, has indicated his pleasure in working with you, our dedicated members. The Jamaican Stage Commander also commented on how well trained the marshals were and what a pleasure he had working with us, CARS. Without your help at the stage, Rally Trinidad would not have been possible and we are happy to say that the event was a success.

Information will be released soon regarding the stipends to be paid. We hope you had as much fun as we did and don't forget the club's next event is our Solodex Driving School 2 on April 22, 2012 at the Arima Race Club. See you then.

Had a great time the Saturday. Really would've liked to be there the Sunday as well but work had to come in the way.
