CARS Autocross 7 2013 with Results

well in all honesty, we know there's gonna be modifications to that course when it's layed down in ARC.

i suggest a two cone slalom just before the first right hand corner, and maybe a deep turn in at the opposite side on the existing chicane...

left as is, i'll have the time of my life, but may kill a person, horse or fence in the process. jussayin..

What's the timeframe for the volunteer response by the way?
He asked a question saturday morning. got a response monday midday.
FYI - there was another event on this weekend, coupled with the usual saturday chores.
Volunteering sadly does not come with 24/7 internet access, extra sleep, nor energy.

one of the perks of the forum is being able to assist each other.
There seems to not a be a current requirement for convertibles.

So yes you can compete with the convertible. With your flair for showing the underside of the vehicle though...................... :mrgreen:

u sure it nah have nuttin in the roles about roll hoops? I vaguely recall that from the earlies, but as five said, there may be precedents set...just want to be sure before I show up

I think spectators pay 20, which allows parking....120 to compete
drinks are usually on sale, and they usually have a vendor selling food (fried chicken, fries etc)

I searched the rules for roll, conver and open and eh see nutten wid that.

MG Man off a lilttle bit there

non members pay 20 (members free) to enter, which allows parking....
to compete it's $140 for non-members, and $120 for members.
drinks are usually on sale, and they usually have a vendor selling food (fried chicken, fries etc).

And feel free to bring your own, the dip in a cooler crews are present and there is some sharing available for the exorbitant price of association (make yourself known, talk to people) :lol:

thanks for the clarification, wagonrunner. Suspension rebuild kit should be here this week...if I can install it in time, and buy four gyres, I'll be there on sunday. I am hoping I can take your word as good that nobody will object / cite a rule re roll bars if I manage to make it on sunday

i think it was posted enough for anyone who objects to reply and say something here. everyone knows this is the hub of communication for autocross, whether individuals choose to check or not. so show up with the car once everything works out. the miata had no issue, bill and barry with the same s2k never had an issue.

really hoping i get everything sorted myself for this event, i'll definitely be bummed if i
cant make.

the HS2K has integral roll hoops as factory standard...take a look at barry's car and you'll see it
My car's windscreen frame is supposed to be a reinforced crash structure but I'll eventually add on a pair of hoops for added safety, more for the road than dex tho.....on a flat surface, the F will spin like a top rather than roll, and with no new-jerzey barriers at dex, I should be safe
