Autocross #7 Dec 11th (times posted)

We will be having our finial event for the year at the Arima Race Club car park on Sunday 11th December 2016. Although most overall class winners are already decided there are others that can still change on the last event, we hope we see our members and new comers to support the club and enjoy a packed day of driving and liming. See you there.
The days activities include:
1. six timed runs
2. Fun runs once time permits

Registration and scrutineering will be open from 10am.
All registration will be closed at 11:30am
All non members participating cost: $160
All members participating cost: $140
Gate fee: $30 per non member
Helmets are on rental: $50

Be advised all drivers and passengers wishing to go out on track must be aware of the clothing rules. Which are no sleeveless jerseys, short pants, slippers or opened toe shoes.
Helmets must also be worn by both driver and passenger.

Tents are available at a cost of $300 when booked in advance by contacting Dave 727-1013.

my $0.02:
There shouldn't be such a long straightaway into the finish box..at least put a kink so that cars have to brake and turn to finish facing due east. What happens if there's a mechanical failure as a car tries to brake from speed into the finish box as-is?

Seems like at that point, one would be leaving ARC at speed.

The position and angle of the finish box will be altered during the laying out of the course.
