Home audio subs for cars????

Postby Radik » May 21st, 2004, 10:30 pm

As the topic says, jus would like to know if home audio subs can be used in a car audio setup. If so, what parameters or altercations should be followed, etc........

can be used however remember that they will be 8 ohm speakers and generally are not designed for the harsh heat environment that occurs in a vehicle
as long as you have the thiele small parameters it can be used but generally the freq response does not go as low as a car audio sub and they will tend to require larger enclosures
