i havent owned rcf but i have owned and still own ah pair ah 8 inch 18 sound
they are loud and maintains clarity
doesent take much power for them 2 get loud either i only pushing 100rms to each
sounds really loud believe me!
no regrets in purchasing them
paid $1500 for the pair.

Heard two pairs on 6"s 18sound in an install yesterday. It was INSANE that 4 6s would be loud and maintain clarity. The secret to fully utilizing thse speakers would be to use them with some GOOD passive crossovers. They eliminate the harshness of the sound when the spekers try to play the higher frequencies.......... IMHO

I disagree. The 6s were sounding really ambitious with the lower frequencies. With a proper, maybe bandpass config with an electronic crossover, they would really shine.

well mos to f those 6's arent designed to play midbass really(not that they cant)what wud be ideal is a pair of dedicated 8"s in the doors alongside them just for midbasss n highpass those 6's just for high mids..

depends on what else u runnin if you are using rcf etc type speakers for midrange you will need minimum an 8" driver to use for mid bass as these speakers have a high sensitivity rating and tend to play mdrange frequancies quite loud
