Faital PRO 6FE200 and RS6-260 same speaker?

Are these two the same or is one some kind of imitation?

So I got several different answers about this.

An installer said he didn't know the RS Audio brand.

A speaker repair man said he didn't know the brand but thought both speakers looked very similar. He concluded that it was possible that one might be an imitation.

One sales man said Faial PRO 6FE200 is original and RS6 is not genuine.

Another sales man said RS Audio was the same and they pay Faital to rebrand the speaker.

A third sales man said RS audio is the local supplier of the speaker.

and yet another said its the same and it doesn't matter.

Google search for RS Audio - There is a German company called RS Audio but they do not make this RS6 speaker and their speakers do not look anything like the Faital Pro speakers.

I bought one of each and played them and could not see any noticeable difference apart from the sticker and i could not hear any difference either.

Faital is Faital, made in Italy.

RS does not make speakers for Faital or vice versa.

RS is another speaker many store owners trying to push out as Faital and saying is the same thing. It resembles the Faital pro.

Its not re branded with permission of the company, its rebadged by dishonest retailers looking to make a dollar on your head.

At those levels of output its hard to tell the difference in sound but durability might be what makes the difference.

RS Audio - Randy and Selwin audio from RASH electronics in Princess Town

They both have similar looks, with the exception of the branding sticker and lead wires being different

Faital pro is faital pro, rs is rs, sales marketing makes one or the other seem as an imitation of the other, but on the other hand faital pro has had this speaker's design for quite some time, but rs audio has been on the local market from 2013 only

Unless some sort of certification can be held, or some legal documentation presented, then it can be considered false information

RASH electronics AKA randy and Selwin are the local suppliers of the said RS speakers, NOT FAITAL PRO, the only registered dealer is Tripple R electronics for faital pro

Most people think they are the same, but to the untrained eye and ear, they can be misled, but for a few $ more, I much rather the original 6fe200 from RRR

They look similar, but play differently.The RS has a higher range response, while the faital has a better lower midrange/midbass response .The untrained ear can differentiate but trinidadian logic "we can tune it" catches most customers

Yes they are cheaper by $25 or so, they play a bit higher, have different lead wires etc, but it's up to you to decide which you prefer, for my personal choice it would be the original faital pro 6fe200

So we got some useful information here. Don't be cheap, spend the extra $20-$50 depending on where you buy and don't be fooled by people saying RS Audio is the same as Faital PRO.
