Death box enclosures

Postby kimron » March 13th, 2016, 2:42 pm

So I recently stumbled on this design and it seems to have good reviews. what's yall take on it and did anyone compare it's output to the other popular enclosure designs?

I haven't heard one, but it looks basically like a slot-loaded 4th order BP design. HornResp could probably be used to sim these, if you have the dimensions. Given the size of the box, I'd be tempted to look at offset-driver TL, BVR or even a TH design with the same driver to compare output before building. All three of those have larger "vents" and therefore lower power compression.

... Looked it up on YouTube, results seem mediocre. I do like the idea of being able to tune the box while it's in your car though.
