Port an box tuning info

Im working on a project and i never really built sub boxes b4.... i measured a friends box with two 15s and since i am using the same subs as his i wanted to build a similar box......i measured the volume of the box which was 8.5cuft and the port area was 3.5cuft.....what i wanted to know was wat would b the tuning frequency of this box.....and how is it calculated??

Port area is usually in square inches / feet / meters etc.

Cubic feet is volume.

^ He must mean area of port x length, cause 3.5 sq. ft for a port would be huge

3.0cuft is actually the volume of the port i originally measured it wrong......the box is double ported i jus measured the height, width, length of the port got the volume...then doubled the figure to get the total volume of the both ports the dimentions of the port is 7inches wide 16inches tall and 23inches long.....so the volume would be 2576cu inches converted to appox 1.5cu.ft for one port....since the box is double ported (has one port on each end of the box) i doubled to get the total volume of the both ports.....what i want to know is what is that tuned to....
