INSTALL PROBLEMS?

Im trying to figure out this problem Im having.

When driving, My midrange occasionally gets quieter and quieter till its Not playing, (usually about vol 20)
when i turn it upwards of 30+ it turns up and then works fine when lowered back to vol20.
this usually happens once every hour or so, i rarely ever drive longer than that.

i changed my RCA for the midrange , thinking it was this. Same problem.

any idea? not sure if its a deck problem, but the deck IC blowed a couple months ago, i grounded the RCA and that fixed the problem. Problem only recently showed itself.

Sounds like a weak resistor that is related to the blown ic. Seeing that it is related to running time it can be a heat induced issue. If I were u I wud first make sure all the pins of the output ic are properly soldered, check for scorched resistors and caps...if u have a multi meter check what u can.

Recommended tech? Im located in South. Im not to familiar with in Depth electrical components

It's a high end Kenwood.
6 rca outs. 7 band eq. Active capable ect.
Someone gave me the deck, so I'm guessing it has about 5 years usage including the time I owned it.

Might be time for a change.

Getting another problem recently too, my headlights and interior lights getting brighter when Im up in the RPM.

i have a voltmeter inside the car, i charge 14.x cold and about 13.2-3 when hot, When i have on the headlights and things, voltage reaching 12.6=12.8v at idle. When i accelerate i seeing 13.4-13.6v.

however when i stop like in traffic with my foot on the brakes i seeing 12.5-12.6v at 750-800rpm.

i already redid my grounds plus stock grounds. I grounded my alt bracket directly to my battery negative pole. Grounded a shock head and One on the intake.
