WTK Ford Ranger Hurricane speakers

Postby shaha87 » July 2nd, 2016, 1:57 pm

Guys I got a 2007 Hurricane and I wanna change the 4 door speakers but I'm not sure what size they are. Anyone know at all what would fit? Only problem is I don't want to install an amp just run the speakers from the stock head unit till I change it out next 2 months. Any help would be appreciated

Excellent. The stock head unit should be able to power 2 4" speakers @60W RMS and 2 6.5" speakers @120W RMS for now?

Those speakers will be under-powered by the head unit resulting in more high frequencies than anything. Best bet, spend the money to upgrade the head unit or install an amp then those speakers. To get a line out you will need to install a line converter.
