Where to mount amplifier

Postby ChristianRD » May 23rd, 2017, 11:55 pm

Guys and gals, bought a soundstream lil wonder 800.1 and trying to figure out where's the most secure place to mount the amplifier in my Nissan almera.

The amp is about 18" x 8" so it won't fit under the seat. In the trunk however I still would like to access my spare without having to remove the amp.

Yeah usually they mount the amp behind the back seat. But if your back seat is like mine which doesn't fold down and doesn't have a metal backing then you may have some issues mounting it there and I didnt want to drill any pannels. My amp is larger than yours and I mounted mine on the floor of the trunk and can still access my spare. On the floor closer to the back seat

Do you have any pics ?
I guess we have the same backseat
Did a half-way false floor just to get me by for now but I still need easier access to the spare.

I'll take some pics tomorrow. You may not be able to clearly see the mounting points tho because I covered it with carpeting

Got thru a while now. Improvised and mounted it on the trunk floor. No drilling into the body and all that jazz.
