I got the system up and running.
Have a few tweaks here and there and a bit of neatening up.
I threw in this p1224 sub I had laying around to get me by for now while I work on the cooling system and then the sub enclosure for the 3 ten's.
Long way to go still.

Nice build. Sadly one of my jbl c608gti stopped working last week so I know the quality is pretty dam good. Are you selling the jbl 1224? Had a pair of 1024 but traded it out when I needed space

Just had it laying around. Not really for sale. Told the guy who bought my last ride I will give him it when I finish with this one but damn the bassline from this is different yes. A solid kinda smooth tone. Power hungry mofo but its hard to get a bassline right in a truck with the sub in the cabin. Still not getting the response from "olatunji - wining good" like I want it.
Hopefully the 3 image dynamics 10" do it for me yes.

^^^ that cabin loss is a reall beetch.... I heard a Dayton 10 sealed on some small power, the van def liked the higher tight bass response

Vid lost some quality when I rotate it.

And not only the lack of cabin gain, its a bit peaky. Really hard to get right.
Roof flexing like its made of paper, back glass rattle, steering shaking.

Looks like I will have to cut the door upholstery though. No way around it.

Used expanding foam on this one. Trimmed it, glassed it, sanded it and painted it.







VHT wrinkle plus from 2dmax auto is an option here as well.

Went into the box that the JBL speakers came in, took out the mounting hardware and decided to use it.
Nice kinda foam seal with an adhesive for it.

Pulled out my dremel and start to cut. Diamonds sure do make quick work of it but a piece hot hot plastic managed to get its way unto my eyelid. Still burns.



They sure as hell fit now. Will have to make up a nice finisher to make it look good. Have some carbon fiber cloth so that will do nice.
When I mount them deeper into the door, they jamming the channel the glass moves in. When I bring them forward, they jamming the upholstery. So chop chop! Problem solved.



So stressed with withdrawal symptoms to music I forgot I had marked a spot for the grounds. Already checked it with my DMM. its a bolt under the seat, a sensor is secured to one under the driver seat. Its shown in the pics I posted earlier. I cleaned up this spot and used it. Will reroute when the cooling system goes in.

these short tie straps seem to not be easy to get and I havent had an y to use on customers stuff awhile now. I has been affecting my work. Bought 1000 piece at tool house.

Assuming u used some anti corrosion greaser when u cleaned the paint off the surface for the ground

Well, if I hit you this.
I busy cleaning off paint and telling myself its not like me to not have a plan when doing a build. So when I done shine metal I remember it has two bolts under the seat that are ideal grounds. There is one earlier in the thread when I was doing the fiberglassing. Is afterwards I tightening the bolt I remember. So when the cooling system going in I will address that. Never had issues with corrosion in cars though.

Needed to get this system up and running today because im suffering serious withdrawal symptoms. Started to affect me in a not so nice way.
Objective is to at least get this one running and start the next one. That one will be simple. So when I working on this one, I have that one.

I left out the remote wire from the jbl amp so I can keep it off when I mute the signal to it. Will need to take out that temporary box and sub when I going on jobs. My welding set sits there.

Nice thump, everything relaxed, balanced, clean. No distortion, no mids screaming, no tweeters screeching and hissing. So far so good.
