what size sub though?

not plenty power by todays standards but very clear sounding amp

i have 6.5" powerbass S series comps i can sell u for $450\pair , doesnt need plenty power & sounds really nice for small $

u hardly see any sub nowadays under 300rms so i wud go with that , lows for most subs wud require a decent sized box ...

my JBL 6.5" are coax , it sounds really good , other comps i carry are orion & a few DD left

music going in ur NZE?

i wouldnt recommend a 8 with such lil power in a big trunk like that - u will barely hear it , if was me id go with a bigger cone area to make up for it

now seeing in my shelf i have a 12 mtx 3500 4 ohm svc rated 250rms that wud be ideal .... reg price $625 can give u for $500 as its d last 1 i have , if u need a box for it i will make it .....

imo it is not worth building a system around that amp especially since u hav to buy gear
and after a month you will be hit with the upgrade bug

60x4 is enough power for a daily thump.

OP rovin giving you some good stuff for dog price there. Comps in front coax on rear doors. Try an arc audio xdi 10" or 12" with that power you have, ported.

later on u cud always use d whole amp for mids & get a dedicated mono for bass , u know how it does go when u start

i agree 60x4 for daily mids is sufficient , u can even enhance ur door sounds by sound deadening it , about $130ish a sheet , 2 sheets\door , makes a huge difference but its up to u

for daily i myself rocking deck power on comps for mids but 1k on bass , i still hear everything even with that amt on bass ...

I think I boil down to 2 pairs of the jbl coaxials and the mtx sub.....

or anything else besides the jbl that sounds just as good

I agree with this. I think it might be worth your while to dedicate that entire amp to a dual 4 sub.

Use deck power for mids

personally I like these.

was looking at the MTX as well. Would love to hear it in a car.

Actually picked that for the subaru when I doing a system. Will need more of a thump in there since the exhaust will drown any low notes.
